macOS: "damaged" error on first launch
The first time you open Autrex, macOS may say "Autrex is damaged and can't be opened." The app is not damaged — macOS flags every app that comes from the internet without an Apple certificate. The command below removes that flag, and you only need to run it once.
  1. Make sure you have moved Autrex into your Applications folder.
  2. Open Terminal (press ⌘+Space and type "Terminal").
  3. Paste the command below and press Enter.
  4. Open Autrex. You will not need to do this again.
xattr -cr /Applications/Autrex.app
If the command finishes without printing anything, it worked. Note: System Settings > Privacy & Security > "Open Anyway" does not help with this particular error — that button only appears for the "unidentified developer" warning. You do not need to repeat this after updates; Autrex clears the flag itself when it updates.
